Meet Eric Benny.

Born and brought up in Delhi, currently lives in Germany

Ex-football player, played for Simlay Youngs FC, Royal Rangers and Salgaocar FC, until injuries ended his career prematurely

Worked with some of world’s biggest corporates like CitiBank, American Express, IBM and Philips, before moving to football administration

Completed FA Level 1 and 2 licenses in 2015 and was bestowed with the DFB-ICC Certificate from Hennaf in Germany in 2016

2010

Managed Indian Men’s National Football Team at the 2010 Asian Games and at the Olympic qualifiers next year.

2011

Became General Manager of I-League Club Indian Arrows, with players like Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and Jeje playing at the club. Finished 10th in the first season.

2012

Started Eric Benny Foundation, and partnered with French Club FC Metz to create a pathway for aspiring Indian footballers.

2017-2018

Started Eric Benny Football Academy (EBFA) in Mumbai with a novel way of coaching talent.

- Kickstarted an international residential school programme in Indore and Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh, the Eric Benny Football School (EBFS) programme.

2019

Announced Eric Benny College Football (EBCF) to support upcoming footballers in both professional sport and academia together.

Change maker in India

Founded Eric Benny Sports Management (EBSM) to create a holistic pathway for talented Indian players to have a shot at a career in Europe. EBSM currently operates in Germany and France
